Meet Your Stylist

Hi everyone!

Apparently every website needs a “bio page”… so welcome to mine 😄

When I first started in this industry, I made a list of the top 10 things I thought clients would want to know about their stylist. It worked pretty well—but a lot has changed in my 20+ years behind the chair, so I’ll keep this version a little simpler. ♥

Hair is my passion. Truly. They’re going to have to pry my shears out of my cold, dead hands… and honestly, some of you would still be asking if I can squeeze you in a Bang Trim 😂
The Parlor by Audra is my baby. It’s exactly what I dreamed my career would grow into way back when, and I’m so happy (and incredibly grateful) to see it come to life.
Outside of the salon, I have two fur babies—Carl & Truman—who fully run my life. They are the cutest dogs ever, and fair warning: if you ask to see a picture, you’re going to have to look at at least 200.
When I’m not behind the chair, I’m probably traveling… or thinking about traveling… or planning my next trip. A close second to that is anything home renovation 😍
My clients are truly an extension of my family. It’s hard not to feel that way when I’ve known so many of them for years—we’ve been through weddings, graduations, divorces, babies, and everything in between together.
Which brings me to an important heads-up:
I am not the stylist who’s going to leave you quietly reading a book or getting work done…
We’re gonna chat 😄
(I want to know what you’d do for a Klondike Bar. If you’re too young for that reference, don’t worry—I’ll explain.)
That said, I do love a good book and audiobooks, so if you need an extra book club member, I’m in.
Hair-wise—yes, I should probably mention this—I spent seven years as a color educator for a professional product line. I stepped away from that to spend more time behind the chair, but I loved teaching and sometimes miss it. Color services are definitely my favorite. 🤗
Most of my career has been spent in Grandview, and I love it here. In a perfect world, I’ll grow old here—ideally in a double on Northwest Blvd with a bestie next door so we can fully step into our Golden Girls era 😂
One thing you should absolutely know about me:
I will never remember which side you part your hair on. Like… ever. BUT—I will remember your dog’s name, your family stories, your life updates, and definitely the nickname we gave your ex after you dumped him. Priorities.
